“My daughter Megan and I are both RNs (me retired, her still working) which is the inspiration for the designs on my piece - September 8, 2020. My granddaughters Lylah, Mya, and Zoe had input into the design and helped with the stitching. They would ask, “Grandma, can I help?” I would start a stitch and they would pull the needle through. It was wonderful to share the project with them.
Stitch[ing] the Situation is a very unique way to capture the magnitude of lives lost to and individuals affected by COVID. I am proud to be part of it.”
