Do you know how to cross stitch?
Are you open to receiving a block that was started by another stitcher?
COVID precautions will be taken, including replacing packaging with new materials and sending fresh needles and thread. All received packages will be held for 3 days prior to handling/replacing materials/sending them out again.
Will you need help purchasing thread to fill in the rest of the block?
Thread is included to stitch the outline. One skein of thread, using 3 strands, will cover about 1000 stitches. Kit totals range from about 10,000 stitches to 100,000, most around 30-50k. The average cost of one skein is around 50 cents, but are frequently on sale around 25-30 cents. If you have 30k stitches, thread cost will be about $10-15+ for thread.

Want a big project?
Would you be interested in a challenge, and take on a block with 100,000+ stitches? Again, there is no deadline for completion and you are always welcome to send it back at any time, finished or not. You are also welcome to share with friends, family, a workplace, or other organization.
Would you like an Illustrator file of your day’s layout for design purposes?
Would you like to receive occasional updates (no more than once a week, more likely every other week) on this project's progress?
Would you prefer to be anonymous on all social media or website posts, newsletters or press, or possible future exhibitions of the project?

Thank you for participating! You will receive an email confirming with more information soon. I mail kits once a week, usually on Mondays.
If I suddenly get a lot of people signing up, there may be more people than kits available, and could mean you are waiting a week or two before receiving a kit.
